Bill Bumblebee Davis is a long-time Washingtonian, equally well respected as an alto saxophonist, pianist, composer, arranger and producer. Bill has been a fixture in the DC music scene for over 20 years, playing with numerous gospel, blues, jazz, and Latin groups. He is a prolific writer and arranger and records and produces numerous local artists such as Arch Thompson as well as his own musical projects.

From Tampa Bay, Florida, Joe discovered his profound love for music at a very young age. Studying privately and also attending a magnet school for the arts in nearby St. Petersburg, accelerated his professionalism. Joe accomplished great things while enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as a Trumpeter which brought him to the Washington DC area. With that experience behind him, moving on as a free-lance musician, he became on of the highest called trumpeters in the DC area. Some of his former instructors include, Wynton Marsalis, Ingrid Jensen, Ron Blake, Tim Zimmerman and many more.
